K-2nd Grade
Basic Phonics, Reading and Writing

Reading Bear - 
digraphs, blends, cvc words, magic e (long vowel), stories
Word World - Stories, vocabulary and games

Starfall - practice reading with phonics, plus many more educational activities
ABCya - this site has short stories. It also has many educational activities to teach phonics, rhyme, and other reading skills

Pebble Go - students research a bird of their choice, and use the sentence frames to write/draw their bird

Storyline Online - stories are read and illustrated by actors
Tumble Books - has a library of e-books, some books in Spanish and French (email me for the login info)
Unite for Literacy - books with colorful pictures written in English and Spanish, and narrated in many languages
My Storybook - students can create their own story using this interactive writing resource
Nat Geo Young Explorer - K-1st grade students can listen to nonfiction stories being read to them and can practice reading along
Read Works - high interest, grade level nonfiction and fiction reading passages with multiple choice questions, vocabulary words, written response questions, and answers
ReadWriteThink - has many activities and resources for parents to help their child at home.  Some of the parent activities are written in Spanish. It also includes writing interactives for students.
Flipgrid - is a free remote learning platform, where teachers and families can create discussion prompts and students can create response videos. Has many topic resources which can be translated in multiple languages

Hi- Here are some great resources for 2nd and 3rd grade to use at home:

ABCya - games to practice grammar, sight word skills, and more
BrainPop Jr. - educational videos on a variety of topics (email me for the login info - or go through Clever)
Tumble Books - has a library of e-books, some in other languages (email me for login info)
Pebble Go - has many topics to research and learn more about, students can listen and/or read in English or Spanish (email me for login info)

Students can also login in to their Office 365 account and click on the Clever App. They can access MyOn for Reading and Dreambox for Math.

Students also have a bag full of books from our school’s independent reading room. These books are fit for their own reading levels. Please have students read 15-20 minutes a day and discuss their reading with a family member.

Most importantly, be safe, wash your hands (a lot!) and spend quality time with your family. Please check your teachers' websites regularly & if you have any questions, please email me at parkstc@pwcs.edu
